Economics of Cloud Computing in Canada

Cloud computing is primarily an economic innovation. The technology is interesting and important, but cloud computing is fundamentally driven by changes in the economic model of computing. What does this mean to Canada and the higher education community? I gave a speech at the Cybera Summit in Banff earlier this month that included a section on cloud computing in Canada where I addressed this question.
