Mark Roman
Mark Roman is the Chief Information Officer at Simon Fraser University. Previously, he was CIO for the University of Saskatchewan and the Principal Consultant of 22over7, an IT management consulting organization. Mark was also the Chief Information Officer at the University of Victoria where he led the information technology transformation. Before joining the University of Victoria, he was the Executive Director of Enterprise Systems at Carleton University and prior to that worked at senior levels in the private sector. He holds a B.Math (Computer Science) from the University of Waterloo, an M.B.A. (Finance) from Queen’s University and is also a certified P.M.P. (Project Management Professional).
